What is Woodlands Memorial?
Woodlands Memorial is Singapore's largest funeral parlour and private columbarium, built on government land in Woodlands Industrial Park. Officialy opened in 2024, it is a nine-storey building purpose-built to offer families a modern, comprehensive end-of-life facility — from funeral services to permanent ash storage — all under one roof.
The columbarium is located on levels 8 and 9, with separate air-conditioned halls dedicated to different faiths. Sky gardens with tropical rainforest and Japanese garden themes provide a serene environment for family visits.

Why families choose Woodlands Memorial over Mandai
The main reasons families choose Woodlands Memorial over the government Mandai Columbarium:
• Air-conditioned halls — Mandai is not air-conditioned. For families who visit frequently or during hot months, this matters significantly. • Choose your niche location — at Mandai, niches are allocated sequentially unless you pay a S$250 selection fee (with limited choice). At Woodlands Memorial, you select your preferred niche from what's available. • Pre-purchase — Woodlands Memorial allows advance niche booking, locking in today's price before you need it. Mandai does not allow advance booking. • Integrated funeral parlour — if you hold the wake at Woodlands Memorial, the columbarium is in the same building. One location for the entire journey. • Dedicated faith halls — separate halls for Buddhist/Taoist and Christian/Catholic families, each with appropriate design and atmosphere.
Woodlands Memorial funeral parlour
Beyond the columbarium, Woodlands Memorial operates Singapore's largest funeral parlour with halls ranging from 25-seater rooms to a consolidated 1,000-seater space. All halls are air-conditioned with private family rooms including living room, bedroom, bathroom, and shower.
Parlour rental pricing: • Deluxe Hall (60-seater, 1 bedroom): S$1,800/day • VIP Hall (120-seater, 2 bedrooms): S$3,800/day
Other charges include a S$250 burning chamber fee and a one-time S$150 cleaning fee. Wreath disposal is free for the first 20 wreaths, then S$7 per wreath.
